Getting involved in the community creates a sense of belonging and connection. Serving others enhances our lives, cultivates relationships, and promotes personal development. By collaborating with around us, we can drive positive change and reinforce community ties. Together, we create a significant impact.
PACS Community Food Drive
We are proud to share that we collected an impressive 695 pounds of nonperishable items for PACS (Phoenixville Area Community Services). This contribution was enough to provide meals for 232 individuals in need within our community during the holiday season. Thank you to everyone who participated in this initiative and helped make a difference in the lives of those who rely on our support. Together, we are making a positive impact and ensuring that no one goes hungry.

PAHS Friendsgiving
This past Thanksgiving, we enjoyed a "Friendsgiving" event organized by PAHS clubs. The goal was to foster connections between different clubs and celebrate the diverse backgrounds and cultures within our school community.

In May, we volunteered at the Dogwood Festival, a century-old community tradition. We helped clean up the festival grounds, ensuring a clean and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Monthly Fun Friday Events
Our chapter organizs and leads our Fun Friday event, a student-run monthly childcare program providing engaging, themed activities for kids. Each moth, a lead student will take the initiative in planning and executing a variety of interactive experiences, ensuring each session had a cohesive theme and kept children entertained and involved. The program is managed independently alongside fellow students, demonstrating leadership, creativity, and responsibility in a hands-on childcare setting.

Basketball Concessions
This winter, we independently managed and operated a concessions stand at Phoenixville boys basketball games, handling all aspects of the store. We were responsible for preparing and selling food and beverages during high-volume games, managing transactions, and keeping operations running smoothly under pressure. All proceeds went directly toward fundraising for the club, contributing meaningful financial support to the program.

SPARK Meeting Childcare
Watched and cared for children during SPARK special education forum meetings, giving parents the space to participate fully in discussions about their children's educational needs. We have been able to offer a supportive, care in a setting that required extra sensitivity and mindefulness.

HSA Meeting Childcare – Manavon, Schuylkill, Hares Hill & PAELC
As a club, we provided weekly childcare across all of the districts elementary schools (Manavon, Schuylkill, Hares Hill, and PAELC) supervising children while their parents attended HSA meetings. Members took on a consistent, reliable caregiving role as part of a student-run effort, ensuring kids were safe and engaged while parents participated in school organization meetings. Students managed the care across different school environments on a regular basis, demonstrating dependability and adaptability week after week.
